If you want to have a successful gym, you have to have the right staff.
Before you choose your staff, you have to set them up for success. You have to tell them “here’s how to do this” instead of waiting for them to screw it up and then telling them “you did this wrong.”
How valuable is this lesson? Count every dollar you’ve spent on staff who were later fired or who quit because they couldn’t succeed under your leadership.
(In my case, that was $130,000 in the first three years.)
This week, I’ve given you specific instructions to build careers on your platform.
On Monday, I introduced you to the basics.
On Tuesday, I told you about Intrapreneurialism: how others can build a career on your platform.
On Wednesday, I told you how much to pay them to deliver your service to your audience on your behalf.
And on Thursday, I told you to book Career Growth ToolKit sessions.
We also told you how to get the right people in the right seats on Two-Brain Radio.
The first step to building careers for others is to know how to do it well.
The second step is actually doing it.
I give you a lot of information for free. We keep it simple and actionable. But most people still don’t act on it. And I’m just as guilty: I get paralyzed in all the ideas and opportunities. That’s why I have a mentor, and it’s why Two-Brain is a mentorship program.
Two-Brain clients: look at the Growth ToolKit. Find your lowest score on the Staff Opportunity and Staff Pay sections. Then target the next level in each row!
