Daily Directive: Oct. 23

Daily Update

I want to help you more.

Every single day, I write a love letter: to you, a gym owner just like me.

I send them because I’m out here with you, and I know what it’s like.

Every day, a few people write me back (thanks).

Your questions determine what we publish. Our team of writers, editors and designers was built to help you build a profitable gym.

2020 was a bit rough (so far). I want to know how you’re feeling.

When you take our annual State of the Industry survey, you guide our content for the next few months and you get to see how everyone else is doing, too.

We’ll publish the results of the survey only to those who participate in it.

Daily Lesson

Our back catalog of content is deep, wide and searchable.

Want to know about marketing? There are dozens of articles, podcasts and step-by-step playbooks.

Need help organizing? Leading your team? Making more money? Buying another gym? Click here, then use the magnifying glass in the upper right corner to search for anything you like. You’ll find the resources you need.

Our advice is built from data, but we publish every day because we care (those are the “Two Brains” in Two-Brain).

Daily Directive

I lost a lot of sleep during the COVID lockdowns. The fitness industry had a clear leadership vacuum, so we just did what we always do: get up early, find the problems, ask “who has already solved this one?” and then publish their actions.

It’s I trick I learned years ago.

During COVID, the problems were really easy to find. But 2021 is a blue ocean. Microgym owners are better positioned than 24-hour access gyms and more resilient than HIIT franchises. And now they’re equipped with a brand new tool: online training.

It’s a very exciting time. I have so much to share with you. So before I go down various rabbit holes, I want to know: what do you want to know about most?

Let me know: take the survey here.

One more thing!

Did you know gym owners can earn $100,000 a year with no more than 150 clients? We wrote a guide showing you exactly how.
