Daily Update

I’d like to know how your business is doing.

But more than that, I want to know how you’re feeling about your business.

I talk about data all the time, but my mentorship practice is called Two-Brain Business because we balance facts and care. I want to make your gym successful so you have a happy life.

It’s hard to have a conversation through a blog post or email. Consider this my icebreaker for the conversation we’ll have in 2021.

Please take seven minutes to fill out our annual State of the Industry survey.

After we analyze the data and compile the results in December, you’ll get:

1. Stats from over 1,000 gyms worldwide for you to analyze, consider and compare against your own.

2. Our annual State of the Industry guide—our data from 2020, and our perspectives and recommendations based on that data.

No one else has the context to publish these opinions with as much breadth or depth, especially in the CrossFit space. That context comes from your trust.

Thank you for participating in our survey!

Daily Lesson

What happens when you keep higher-value clients longer?

You build the life you deserve.

My mission is to make gym owners wealthy. Wealth is the freedom of money and time. When you have those, you save more people.

The key to achieving any goal is to work backward from the goal to your present state.

Andrew and Mary Boimila won the Two-Brain Lifestyle Award for 2020. They didn’t do it by accident but by design. You can listen to their interview here: “The Big Win: When Your Gym Supports Your Lifestyle.”

Daily Directive

The best way to get the life you want? Imagine it as clearly as possible. Determine the metrics you’ll need to get there (I’ve shared two with you this week). Develop your program to deliver those metrics. Hire the staff to help—if you need them.

And talk to the people who have done it before you. That’s what mentorship is all about: collecting data, proving what works and working with people who have achieved your dreams.

P.S. If you have friends who run gyms and wouldn’t mind filling out our State of the Industry survey, please share the link with them. We want to get as much data as possible. Thank you!

One more thing!

Did you know gym owners can earn $100,000 a year with no more than 150 clients? We wrote a guide showing you exactly how.
