Daily Update
There’s a light at the end of the tunnel: When you reopen, they’ll be waiting.
Your clients will come back. And our data proves it. They’ll bring their friends. And your friends. And your neighbors. And that person who’s been reading your emails for three years but never booked a No Sweat Intro.
We call this The Surge.
If you’ve reopened after COVID, you can increase the size of the Surge in your business.
If you haven’t reopened yet, you can prepare to capitalize.
Daily Lesson
“A healthy man wants a thousand things; a sick man only wants one: to be well.” —Naval Ravikant
When do people prioritize their health and fitness most? When they’re sick. Or when they’re close to sickness. People quit smoking when an uncle or aunt dies of lung cancer; they join a gym and lose weight when they see the costs of comorbidities firsthand.
While most of us don’t know anyone who has died of complications from COVID (thank goodness!), we’re all surrounded by a conversation on health and immunity 24 hours per day.
You’re most valuable when people need you most.
This is not the time to push everyone into group classes. This is the time to really ask yourself, “What does this client need to get healthy?” Is it nutrition coaching? 1:1 personal training? Mentorship on habits and mindfulness?
There’s a reason new clients in Two-Brain gyms are buying more coaching post-COVID.

Daily Directive
This is the time to talk to every one of your clients.
A new challenge doesn’t mean “do more of the same”; it means “make a new prescription to fit this new world.” That’s leadership.
Book a Goal Review Session with every one of your clients in the month before they return. If it’s too late, book a Goal Review with every client before Sept. 15. Make it a challenge for your coaches, pull yourself out of other roles to make time for this project, and do whatever it takes to restart your clients the right way.
This is the time to lay a new foundation for your coaching business.
