About

Rune Laursen

Rune has more than 500 members in Denmark’s highest-priced gym, which supports three full-time staff members and 15 part-timers. He’s a regular on Two-Brain’s Monthly leaderboards.

Rune Laursen has revolutionized the Danish fitness industry by setting new benchmarks for quality and professionalism in microgyms.

In Denmark’s highly competitive but low-priced fitness market, Rune has positioned his gym, BoxLife/CrossFit 5512, as the highest-priced gym in the country—and he has more than 500 members. BoxLife employs three full-time staff members and 15 part-time employees, and Rune is a regular on Two-Brain’s leaderboards for key performance indicators.

In 2023-2024, Rune grew his business portfolio by opening and successfully selling another CrossFit gym. He is also a member of the Round Table business network and serves as a political advisor for PTDenmark, advocating for the elimination of the 25 percent tax on fitness services. Additionally, Rune runs an online coaching business that offers small-group coaching sessions to high-ticket clients.

Rune’s dedication to the fitness community led him to become a Two-Brain mentor: “I really just want to give back to the community, to see gym owners thrive when they are helping people get better, fitter, happier, and to contribute to the course of making more successful gym owners.”

Rune specializes in managing gyms with high headcounts, and he knows exactly how to build successful nutrition programs. He’s also highly skilled in sales and marketing, including funnel and website building on platforms such as ClickFunnels and GHL.

“My mission as a mentor is to give my mentees speed, results and support when they need it, to help them get over what’s holding them back, and, in the best case, to make them more successful than I ever was!”

Outside his professional life, Rune is passionate about maintaining a high level of fitness and loves spending quality time with his girlfriend, Trine, and his young son, Victor. When he isn’t leading the Danish fitness community and helping other gym owners thrive, he’s striving to be the best dad he can be.
