Kourtney bought a gym with an average revenue per member of $75 and drove that number up to $350.
She can teach you all these things because she’s done them herself.
Kourtney Brownlow is an experienced, long-term gym owner who’s earned dramatic business growth since 2019, when she looked to Two-Brain to help her create her Perfect Day.
After eight years as owner of a CrossFit affiliate, Kourtney sold that business in 2022 to another Two-Brain Business client. Now she focuses on Franklin Strength and Wellness and other entrepreneurial endeavors.
At Franklin, Kourtney worked hard to improve the business after purchasing it. Originally a 4,000-square-foot facility featuring group classes, the business had an average revenue per member of $75. With the help of a mentor, Kourtney made significant changes that paid off: The gym now focuses on personal and semiprivate training in 1,000 square feet of space, and its ARM is $350.
Kourtney spends just an hour a week on that business, so she’s free to pursue new opportunities. After just one year in the Two-Brain Growth program, she joined Tinker and is improving her skills as an entrepreneur. She’s currently in the process of acquiring commercial real estate that’s home to a 24-hour fitness facility.
Kourtney is also dedicating time to sharing her knowledge and experience with others.
“I am so passionate in helping entrepreneurs succeed,” she said. “Two-Brain Business changed my life and continues to do so on a daily basis. I wanted to help be that catalyst for success for people just like me.”
As a mentor, Kourtney specializes in helping gym owners take action to improve their businesses one step at a time. With almost a decade of gym ownership under her belt and experience as an affiliate owner and PT-studio owner, Kourtney is equipped to help anyone in the fitness industry find new levels of success.
Kourtney lives with her husband and four children in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. She spends her spare time with her family, and they’re all learning sign language to communicate with one son who is deaf. The Brownlows enjoy getting outside or watching Chicago Cubs baseball together.
