Greg Strauch has been committed to Two-Brain Business’ “help first” philosophy since before he’d heard of either. He started helping others as a personal trainer while serving in the U.S. Air Force in Clovis, New Mexico. After discovering CrossFit, he volunteered his afternoons and evenings to build a military affiliate program on base. At its peak, the program served 100 members.
Greg went on to open CrossFit Unknown Element, the first CrossFit affiliate in Clovis, a town of 39,000 people. But what began as a labor of love soon grew into a thriving brand with the help of Two-Brain Business.
“I used everything to help build systems (in) my business,” he said, “and it started to make a real difference.”
Mentorship only expedited the improvement. After implementing the lessons taught by his mentor, Greg saw his business’ retention improve drastically.
“I was ROI-positive in only three weeks,” he said. “Now that has paid dividends, and I would say I would pay 100 times what I did for the lessons and mentorship.”
Today, CrossFit Unknown Element is flourishing with 10 programs and 175 members, and Greg is devoted to helping other gym owners achieve the same success.
“My mission as a mentor is to guide business owners to build the life they have always wanted,” he said. “I believe in extreme ownership and helping gym owners get out of their own heads to see the big picture.”
