Peter Brasovan

When Peter Brasovan opened Myriad Health + Fitness with partner Jared Byczko in 2011, the budget was so tight they had to ration paper towels, and the pair did everything from coaching to cleaning.

Peter sold his half of the business to work full time as a Two-Brain mentor in 2022, when Myriad was grossing $1.2 million a year and employing more than 40 staff members.

When Peter Brasovan co-founded Myriad Health + Fitness with Jared Byczko in 2011, they started with a tight budget and a strong vision. From coaching classes to cleaning, they did it all.

Myriad’s growth was remarkable from 2011 to 2020.

Today, Myriad Health + Fitness continues to serve the Indianapolis market with staple programs in CrossFit, yoga, weightlifting and personal training. It is supported by seven full-time employees and 20 part-time coaches and yoga instructors.

Peter sold his 50 percent ownership of Myriad in 2022, marking a successful exit after a 12-year career. He is now a full-time certified mentor and the mentor onboarding trainer for Two-Brain Business.

Before diving into the fitness industry, Peter was a traveling manager for a national marketing company representing PlayStation. He also worked briefly for two other marketing firms, including a contract position for a Fortune 500 company.

Peter’s journey with Two-Brain Business began in 2015 after reading Chris Cooper’s book “Help First.” The decision to join Two-Brain was transformative. By 2018, Myriad was generating $1 million in revenue with an 18 percent profit margin after owners’ pay, and the success continued through 2019 and 2020.

In 2020, like the rest of the world, Myriad faced challenges from COVID. Peter helped successfully manage the gym during the pandemic, ensuring the gym not only survived but thrived and emerged with a clearer mission.

At the peak of Peter’s gym ownership, Myriad achieved its best annual and monthly revenue totals ($1.2 million and $115,000, respectively), and Peter managed over 40 staff members and oversaw 100-plus classes a week.

As one of the last big tasks Peter accomplished before selling his portion of Myriad, he negotiated the sale of a multi-million-dollar real-estate package that prepared Myriad for future success. Since 2017, Peter has been involved in six commercial real-estate deals, and as a mentor he offers his expertise to help others who are looking to purchase their buildings.

Peter now resides in Birmingham, Alabama, with his wife and three kids. He works as a Full-Time Two-Brain Mentor, combining his passion for helping others with his extensive experience in team building. He specializes in staffing, leading, motivating and mentoring employees to become “intrapreneurs.”

Peter holds a degree in marketing and supply chain management from the Kelly School of Business at Indiana University. He is a devoted husband, father and sports enthusiast.

“My mission as a mentor is to make the list of ‘10 people who have motivated me or changed my life’ for 500 different people and entrepreneurs,” Peter said. “I aim to provide the same level of care and passion to other entrepreneurs as I do to my own family, helping them to become the best versions of themselves.”
