After starting with Two-Brain in 2018, Rickard placed his business among the top German gyms in revenue per square foot. He’s worked as a sales consultant for 15 years and speaks six languages.
Rickard Björnekärr is the CEO of Escapist CrossFit in Berlin, Germany.
In 2018, he came across Two-Brain Business and found Chris Cooper’s approach to running a microgym to be the most logical. Later that year, Rickard had the chance to bring Chris on his podcast and meet him in person, and he knew he had to work with Two-Brain.
Now, Escapist is among the top German gyms in revenue per square foot.
Rickard has also worked as a sales-development consultant for 15 years, with a focus on lead generation, acquisition and project management.
As a gym owner, he’s focused on improving lives—and his role as a Two-Brain mentor helps him expand his reach.
“My vision was from the beginning to help thousands of people with their health and fitness. To become a mentor is one of the greatest levers to help the best people in the world: the gym owners! They will then help more people that I could ever dream of.”
Rickard’s specialties are putting himself in other people’s shoes, finding solutions, encouraging action and offering perspective for entrepreneurs. He’s eager to work with people who see problems as opportunities because he knows they’re unstoppable with the right guidance from a mentor.
He speaks Swedish, Finnish, German and English, as well as conversational Danish and Norwegian.
Rickard has three daughters and has become an “unintended horse expert”—but that’s what can happen when your kids are passionate about something.
