About

Shawn Rider

Shawn Rider knows what it’s like to be on the brink of failure and start from scratch.

At the age of 26, after dissolving the gym he owned with a former business partner, Shawn was left with just nine clients. A few months later, his business bank account had $32 in it and rent was due the next day. He turned those nine clients into 150—all while also working full time as a high-school finance and economics teacher.

Today, Shawn is functionally retired and a millionaire, all before the age of 35.

“There was no better professional feeling than taking a gym from nothing to something and having the opportunity to own a business full time,” he said.

Shawn saw his passion for entrepreneurship mirrored in the mission of Two-Brain Business, and after a year as a client in the Two-Brain family, he knew he wanted to help other entrepreneurs navigate the path to success.

“The day I left my teaching job, the first thought in my head was, ‘Who’s next? How can I help as many people as possible feel this feeling?’”

He might have left the classroom, but Shawn remains committed to teaching. A self-described “decision-making generalist,” Shawn’s specialty lies in helping gym owners develop as leaders, and his mission is “to guide gym owners to freedom and wealth, both with time and finances.” He also has a flair for branding and social media.

As a Tinker Coach, he loves helping entrepreneurs learn how to protect their newfound wealth while implementing successful financial and lifestyle strategies to truly live their best lives.

Shawn holds a bachelor-of-science degree in business and marketing education with a minor in economics from Appalachian State University and is a former FCS Division I national champion football player. Shawn is married, has two children, and currently resides in Winchester, Virginia.
